Ordering

What are sola wood flowers?

Our DELICATE WOOD Flowers are made from a soft tapioca Wood (much like a balsa wood). This makes them very realistic and delicate and they should be treated with gentle care as you would treat real flowers (minus watering of course!).

These flowers are each handmade and there will be imperfections such as chips from the edges of the plant or even bark within them naturally.

 We also work with natural materials such as book pages, comic books, birch wood, preserved foliages and flowers, and mulberry paper. Sometimes, if we are going for a particular look, we will use faux succulents, lambs ear, dusty miller or something similar. If you have a question about a material in your bouquet or arrangement specifically, feel free to ask!

How long will my order take to make before it ships?

We offer a few different types of items you can order such as wedding items, gifts and home decor and crafting supplies. Our general standard order processing times are as follows:

  • Home Decor & Gifts: 3-5 Business Days
  • Crafting Supples & Undyed Flowers: 3-5 Business Days
  • Bouquets and Wedding Items: 3-4 Weeks (RUSH OPTIONS AVAILABLE)
  • Custom Wedding Collections: 4-6 Weeks (RUSH OPTIONS AVAILABLE)

What if I need my sola flowers quickly? Are rush orders available?

Yes! We do have rush options available within the shop you can purchase along with your order. Purchasing this option will expedite your order through our processing queue so you get your flowers fast. Please contact us with any questions!er

How do I care for my sola wood flowers?

UNPACK YOUR FLOWERS PROMPTLY


Once your order arrives, allow your flowers to breathe for a couple days and they will dry out from the trip. Sometimes they are exposed to moisture during shipping (hot trucks, rain, etc) so its best to unpack them promptly as they are organic material and store them in a dry, cool, location.

To keep the colors bright, your bouquets and decor should be kept out of direct sunlight. 



STORAGE


Flowers are subject to their environment as they are made from organic materials and may discolor or mold if they are exposed to moisture. Store wedding bouquets in a cool, dry place before the wedding to make sure bouquets are as vibrant as when they were received.

DUSTING

Dusting your wood flowers is rarely needed. If you would like, you can LIGHTLY use a can of compressed air to help brighten up your flowers (we have had flowers over 5 years and have not needed to do this!).

Weddings

Sola flowers are perfect for weddings and vow renewals. We offer a variety of colors and styles already designed for you, but we can customize any of our designs to your colors, or create something totally yours!

How far in advance of my wedding should I order?

We recommend ordering about 3-6 months in advance of your wedding date. We do also offer RUSH options if you need your collection sooner! Feel free to contact us with any questions.

Can I see a sample before I order my full wedding collection?

Absolutely! We offer many sample options including sample sets of 6 loose flowers so you can see the styles and colors and feel the flowers in person.

What does the custom wedding collection order process look like?

For custom collections, you make selections from hundreds of options --- you pick your flower colors, flower styles, foliage, wrapping and arrangement style. Your designer will send photos along the way including confirming your colors, initial design photos and final photos before your flowers ship to you! You will know what your flowers will look like before they leave our shop.

We recommend contacting us as soon as possible to start the process and for us to help answer any questions you might have!

Shipping, Returns & Exchanges

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. You’ll be asked to select a delivery method during checkout.

What is the shipping policy?

Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that our fulfillment team has received your order. Once your order is processed and fulfilled, you will receive an email notification with your tracking information. Shipping fees are non-refundable in the case of returns.

Do you ship overseas?

No, due to length shipping times, we currently only ship within the United States.

What is your return or exchange policy?

At Pine and Petal, we are committed to delivering beautiful delicate sola flowers right to your door! We do not accept returns on custom orders. All sales are final for customized items.
